| Message | I spoke with a number of mechanics who had the pleasure of working on them.  For all intensive purposes, being a Honda, they are very reliable.   The mechanics did mention two ,somewhat odd, recurring problems.  The window regulators go out.  When they go out, they can cause collateral damage that ends up costing about $2k to fix.   The more troubling problem was with the engine block itself.  If I remember correctly, there was some sort of problem with cooling that would somehow result in the engine grenading!  Replacement cost for that lovely all aluminum block was over $20K(not including labor).   I forget all the details since I have aligned my focus with the Z, but the sheer cost of parts put the NSX out of my league.
